Regional Offices:
Currently, the National
Registry has seven regional offices in Liberia,
Puntarenas, Limón, Ciudad Quesada, Pérez Zeledón, Western
San José and Alajuela, extensive areas where users are concentrated.
Among the criteria used to open these Regional Offices are high population
density, high demand for services by notaries and users in the selected
zones, and distance separating users from the Central Office, which in some
cases caused users to spend a considerable amount of time and money to travel
to San José.
